THE "PRE-LILLE RANKING" IS A GUIDEAs stated under the "Pre-Lille Ranking" to the right on the main menu, the "Pre-Lille Ranking" is based on those who competed in the previous official meet, and who has signed up for the next meet, but it is just a guide to the level of perfomance we may expect at the upcoming meet. The previous meet was in Hohenems (Austria), and the next is in Lille (France). As we all know, competition is competition, and the results may vary from one venue to the next. Let's look at Fabrice Lebiedzinski of France, for starters. In the "Pre-Lille Ranking", he's listed at 5th place with a meet result from Hohenems at 394.36 kph, and his fastest jump at 401.56 kph. However, we all know that the man can be faster than that. For instance, he opened the 2002 season, at Skydive DeLand, with a 421.91 kph jump. And hasn't he always been fast over Lille? Last year, Lebiedzinski opened the 2003 season with a 453
kph-jump, and finished in 2nd place overall for the 2003 World Cup, so watch out for
Fabrice Lebiedzinski in the season opener! |
