Speed
World Cup 2004I finished third in the 2004 World Cup of Speed Skydiving, despite a no-score in the last competition of the year over Jumptown DZ in USA on August 27-29. Despite two good jumps, one at 437 km/h (about 272 mph) and one at 440 (about 273 mph), my OB spell continued and I ended up without a meet result yet again (see “4942-48” below). However, my results from France in May and England in June earned me the overall slot in 2004 behind Mark Calland of England and Arnold Hohenegger of Austria. My logbook: 4949-54. • Speed News • Jumptown News • Hohenegger's Speed Pictures |
